My name is Rachel Macêdo Silva, I am a “carioca”, born in Rio de Janeiro, I have been living in Italy for 16 years and I fell in love with this fascinating city that is Milan.

A phrase that has inspired me since I arrived here and that I take as my life motto is: “Never say Never”.
And it is true, from my own experience I can say that nothing is definitive in this life, everything can change when we least expect it. I would never have imagined, for example, that one day I would change not only cities but also continents and much less that I would marry a foreigner! Before moving here, I graduated in Nutrition and worked as a flight attendant at the Brazilian airline Varig for 10 years. Smiling, listening to people and watching them while they talk, as well as interacting with them, have always been my strong points.

It is no wonder that I took on the role of Public Relations of the company that my husband and I have together: Studio ARCH. & PROJECT, an architecture and interior design studio in the Porta Romana area of ​​Milan that this year will celebrate its 50th anniversary of commercial activity, thus becoming a “Historical Shop of Milan”, a recognition awarded by the Municipality of Milan and ConfCommercio to all shops that have completed at least 50 years of commercial activity in the city.

Entrepreneurship is not easy, we already know that, but we Brazilians have a secret weapon: our smiling soul that fixes everything.
