With the rush of everyday life, we end up opting for natural makeup, which consists of a light makeup. Just focus on using concealer in strategic points and focus on the eyes to highlight the naturalness of the makeup. Natural makeup is ideal for any occasion where you want to appear well-groomed, but without putting too much pressure on your look. Perfect for the warmer seasons.
The essential phase of this makeup is skin care. Invest in good cleansing and moisturizing products. And as I always recommend, apply sunscreen at this stage every day. Sunscreen will protect your skin and help prevent premature aging.
Don’t weigh down the base. Choose a foundation with light coverage and apply it with the help of a sponge/beauty blender, to leave the effect very natural. If you don’t like applying foundation, you could replace this item with a primer. The primer will help you fix the makeup products on your skin. Choose primers with an illuminated/glow effect.
As for concealer, choose one that offers medium-light coverage and apply it only to the necessary areas. Ex: dark circles, eyelids (if they have discoloration), spots…
A good option to replace foundation and concealer is BB Cream. It has a soft coverage, provides a natural effect and at the same time treats the skin with hydration and sun protection.
Avoid contouring! In natural makeup it is better to highlight the strong points with the highlighter, rather than trying to hide imperfections. Opt for cream/liquid highlighters.
Also leave the eyebrows very light. You can comb them upwards and with a fine-tipped pencil fill in only the empty spaces. If you have very thick eyebrows, you can use an eyebrow gel that matches the natural color of your eyebrows and comb them.
To keep the skin looking natural, we must also be careful when applying blush. The blush cannot be too reddish/pinkish. Apply very delicately on the apples of the cheeks. Opt for a cream blush to get this more natural look. An old but precious tip is to apply a pink lipstick and spread it with a brush.
For the eyes, apply neutral colored eyeshadows. The shadows can be matte or shimmery.
If you choose shimmery eyeshadows, choose liquid or cream eyeshadows. They are great because you can apply them directly with your finger.
For lipstick, avoid strong and dark colors. And another tip is to apply it with your finger to make it look very natural, because when you apply lipstick directly from the bullet, you end up loading your lips with product.
